Page redirects

To redirect a page, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the WordPress dashboard
  2. Select Tools from the left menu
  3. Then select Redirection (very bottom link)
  4. Click Add New button near the top
  5. Enter the source url (old path) and target url (new path) into the available fields
    • Note that the target url (new path) requires the full path to the page to be entered, including sub folders.
      For example: /university-essentials/acting-academic-integrity/
    • Note that it is possible to do bulk uploads via CSV - see instructions here.
  6. Select Save redirects.
  7. Move the old page (the page being redirected) to trash.
