Seated posture
It is natural to adopt a range of postures as you complete different
tasks. But when working at your keyboard it is best to avoid slouching
for long periods. Try to sit upright at the back of the seat and allow
the backrest to support your lower back.
- Your knees should be level with your hips.
- Your forearms should be horizontal when your fingers rest on the keys.
- Your feet should be comfortably supported on a footstool or foot ring.
- You should be facing directly towards your work.
