Standing posture
It is natural to adopt a range of postures as you complete different
tasks. You are encouraged to alter your posture regularly between seated
and standing.
- Bend one leg slightly when standing at the counter and alternate
the bent leg regularly
- Rest your arms on the counter and relax your shoulders
- Move regularly
- Place one foot on a low object.
Demonstration
This staff member is standing with one leg slightly bent to allow
that leg to rest.
