Estimated and actual cost

Both these graphs show that actual cost was higher than estimated cost every month.

You can plot the time against estimated and actual cost for each stage of the project with the cost for each period plotted against it. This shows by how much a project was overestimated or underestimated at the different stages.

The information can be plotted as a line graph or bar graph.
