This is because EI and EQ are common terms and it's important to know exactly what they mean, what others think of EI and EQ, how recruitment specialists use EQ to anticipate your ‘fit’ for an organisation, and how EQ might be a useful way to think about how your emotions affect your behaviour in the workplace.
Moreover, studies suggest that those with high EQ have better mental health, job performance and leadership skills...so it’s definitely worth knowing about!
