We started this section by mentioning the huge amount of resources, programs and even qualifications that try to develop entrepreneurial skills and thinking. Here we list some of the ways you can develop - or continue to develop - entrepreneurial skills. We recommend that you try at least 2 of these approaches!
- Take a subject that deals with entrepreneurism.
- Use some of the many OERs that deal with entrepreneurism. There are videos as well as free short courses from organisations like MIT and the United Nations.
- Read books, websites and journals about entrepreneurs, business and operationalising ideas!
- Watch YouTube videos by and about successful entrepreneurs.
- Find a mentor and/or join a network – face-to-face, online or both:
- ENYA (Enterprise Network for Young Australians)
- Join discussions like this one initiated by the State Government of Victoria, ‘Cultivating Skills, Entrepreneurship and Innovation’.
- Attend workshops like these
- Attend conferences like these
