Reach sectors of your desk

Your work counter is made up of three reach sectors:

  • The optimum reach sector is closest to you. It should contain items you use constantly.
  • The maximum reach sector extends to as far as you can comfortably reach with your hands. It should contain items you use less often.
  • The outer reach sector is beyond easy reach. You need to stretch or stand to reach this sector. It should contain items you only use only occasionally.

What to do

Consider the items on your desk and how frequently you use them. Then reorganise your desk space so that it is optimised for your needs.
