Multiples and submultiples
Prefixes are often used to express very large or small numbers easily. This reinforcement activity explains the prefixes used to represent multiples and submultiples.
Using the multiplier:
- move the slider control to see the real value of the number one when it is followed by a prefix
- choose a prefix to see its meaning.
