Mechanical drawings
Use this activity to develop your skills in sketching and producing mechanical drawings.
Freehand drawing
Using A4 or larger paper, produce a pictorial freehand sketch of the toolbox shown below.
When you have completed the sketch show it to your trainer to receive feedback.
Note: Your trainer may choose to supply you with an alternative object to freehand draw.
Mechanical drawing
Using A4 or larger paper, produce a 3rd angle projection drawing of the toolbox (plan, front and side view).
The drawing must contain all the necessary detail to allow fabrication of the toolbox. The drawing must use appropriate engineering drawing conventions.
When you have completed the drawing, show it to your trainer to receive feedback.
