Electrical drawings
Introduction
Electrical drawings are used to represent actual components, appliances, installations or even buildings. They show circuit paths and the relationship of components to each other. The types of diagrams that are used include:
- block diagrams
- circuit diagrams
- wiring diagrams
- ladder diagrams.
Block diagrams give a general representation of how segments of a system relate to each other. The other three diagram types give information about the conductor paths, the operation of components, and connections.
