Angles are commonly used in the building trade.

The roof of a house is set at an angle to make sure rain water runs off the roof. The angle of the roof will depend on many factors including climate, visual appeal, local regulations etc.

Internal walls of a house are often set at a specific angle to provide a perfectly square shape.
