6.6 A* User Prediction

• Having worked through the previous exercise, now test your understanding of the operation of the A* Search search. Click Reset. Select the Single Step (User Prediction from the Mode menu.

• Using the same problem as before, begin predicting the next node to be expanded by the A* search. Use the mouse pointer to identify your choice, then click the mouse button to see if you are correct. Repeat this process until you are confident you understand how the A* search operates.
