Navigation dividers

This process allows you to create divisions in the right navigation menu. Use these dividers sparingly and with care to ensure clarity and coherence in navigation.

Process

• Navigate to the Desired Page: Go to the page where you want the divider to appear above the existing content.
• Select the Page Template: Choose the page template labeled Nav Divider from the template options. This enables the functionality to add navigation dividers.



• Add Navigation Divider: Additional custom fields will appear labeled Nav Divider. Here you can select one of the options:
  • Getting Started
  • Next Steps
  • Dive Deeper
  • Other
• Using the "Other" Option: Selecting Other allows you to enter custom text. Please use this feature sparingly and only in appropriate circumstances to maintain uniformity and simplicity across the site.



• Default Value Handling: If the default value Select a divider label is chosen, no divider will appear in the navigation.

Guidelines

Usage Restriction: Use nav dividers only on child pages (not grandchildren) to maintain a clear hierarchy and navigation structure.
