There are certain administrative functions that accompany each account type. There are also a number of predictable queries for each account types.

Get to know them, and your company's products and procedures, and you will be able to answer the majority of client queries.

If ever you do not know what to do either:

• ask your supervisor; or
• tell the client what you will do to resolve the matter, and how/when they can contact you again to follow it through.
