Safe keyboard and mouse work habits
If you use your keyboard and mouse for prolonged periods, it is important
to develop safe work habits.
Working posture
Try to keep your elbows relaxed by your sides as you input data. This
will minimise fatigue in your arms.
Using the mouse
Keep your elbow close to your side and allow your forearm to glide as you
use the mouse. When you are not using the mouse, take your hand off it to
reduce the tension in your hand and arm.
Keyboard shortcuts should be used to reduce the amount of time you spend
using the mouse.
