Interest bearing deposit

Interest bearing deposits are a product for customers who do not need access to their money, want a higher interest than a transaction account and don’t need the interest until maturity. These accounts usually have slightly higher interest than term deposits.

The main features of Interest Bearing Deposits are:

  • a minimum of $50,000
  • A term of 1 month to 12 months
  • A guaranteed rate of return
  • Interest paid at maturity only
  • No fees if the investment is carried through to maturity.
