AI-Search Menus and Controls

• The AI-Search software provides a series of menus and controls for selecting the search algorithm, the display mode, and to control other aspects of the animation.

• Set out below is the main menu bar that appears at the top of the AI-Search software.

  

• The major pull-down menus across the top are Algorithm, Problem, Mode, and Settings.

• Beneath the pull-down menus are a series of buttons for controlling the progress of the animation, including a slider bar to moderate the speed of the animation.

• To the far right you will see representations of the Start and Goal 8-Puzzle game boards and a count of the number of nodes in the Open and Closed Lists.

• Set out below are more details about the available menu options.
